For our three nights in Mendoza, we chose to stay at the Finca Adalgisa in Chacas de Coria. Finca Adalgisa is an early 20th century manor house and vineyard estate in the heart of the premier wine-growing region of Argentina. It is a charming family home converted in 2001 by Gabriela Furlotti,a third generation Argentine-Italian, into the first boutique hotel and finca in Mendoza.

The Lush Grounds at the Finca

Staying at this small boutique hotel is like staying with a good friend....that is, a good friend who owns a small vineyard. The incredible staff at the Finca Adalgisa are very friendly and helpful. As soon as you check in to the property, their hospitality is on full display.

There are multiple areas for relaxing under tranquility of the sun here at the Finca. In the original structure of the Finca, there are a number of rooms available for guests to use. The Pool at the Finca

The 5-acre property is full of fruit-bearing trees and grapevines. The small winery at the Finca produces about 5,000 bottles per vintage from grapes grown exclusively at the property. Each night, guests can mingle at the cozy wine tasting area within the winery for a glass of their Malbec. On your first evening at the Finca, you will be welcomed with a complimentary bottle of their wine with some cheese and snacks.

Cheers!

There are only eleven guest rooms at the Finca Adalgisa. Each suite is different, but equally well-equipped, with terraces, living rooms, fireplaces and kitchenettes. The lodgings are comfortable and unpretentious. Upon arrival we were greeted with a large bowl of fresh fruit, including cherries from the Finca's fruit trees. Each day, the Finca provides bottled water for their guests.
